We have been informed of essential urgent maintenance, being undertaken by our carrier partner Gamma, on 27th January. This work may affect some Call Handling Services clients.
This maintenance will move infrastructure service between IP Session Border Controllers (SBC’s) and is required to update the SBC’s to prevent a higher risk of uncontrolled failure. While they hope that service interruption is avoided, there may be downtime of up to 15 minutes during the maintenance window. We do not know when this downtime will occur.
If downtime occurs, it will affect all Hubbub VoIP softphone users. Some inbound calls may also be affected.
We recommend softphone users login to the VCC with mobiles or landline numbers during the maintenance window to minimise risk of disruption.
We apologise for the short notice; this work has just been brought to our attention, but it is both urgent and unable to be deferred.
