We have been informed by Nasstar of Emergency Works being undertaken at Global Switch, a major IP data centre through which Nasstar routes much of their IP Traffic.
This is not expected to affect our clients however with any infrastructure work there is always a small risk of unplanned impact. As this is not our maintenance we are unable to affect or postpone it but wil be monitotring Nasstar engineering channels for any relevant updates.

Change Description Notification of Global Switch Emergency Maintenance Works – Reinstate PSS/6A Transformer Supplies.
Change Details Our Service Partner, Global Switch, will be performing a transfer of the PSS/6A supply to the Level 6 transformer. The supply is currently fed via Level 8 and will be reinstated at Level 6 as part of this activity. These works will be carried out over two days (08-09 December 2025) between 08:00 and 18:00 each day, with an additional contingency window on 10th December 2025 if required. Location of Works : London East - Level 6 Affected Service(s) : Power - A feed
Anticipated Impact During the works on PSS/6A, the customer A-supply will be unavailable. However, this will remain fully supported by the alternate B-supply. The single supply will continue to be DRUPS-backed and available at all times throughout the activity. Please Note : These works have been marked as Amber by our service partner as no impact to service is expected; however, all works carry an element of risk which could result in a loss of service. All necessary precautions have been taken by service partner to ensure the works proceed as planned and no downtime is experienced.
As this maintenance is not under the control of Nasstar, it is not possible to reschedule it, and we have provided all the information that we can.
